Saving Searches
Q: I am not allowed to create a new folder to save my search results. I've checked the help documentation, and I am following the procedure, but I am not given the option to save my results to a new folder, only to existing folders. Why is this so?
A: You may have already met the number of allowed folders. Currently, a user can only create up to 3 folders, and store up to 50 records per folder. If that is not your problem, please let me know, and we can look further into your account. If that is the case, my suggestion to you would be to either download the records so you have them, or, if you would like to keep them on Engineering Village, you could also create a group and tag the records to that group so you can organize them that way. Another option would be to set up an account on 2Collab, an external bookmarking site, and bookmark your records of interest there so you can refer back to them when you wish to work with them again.
