Significantly Enhances Pulp and Paper Research
HOBOKEN, N.J. 15 March 2004 - Elsevier Engineering Information (www.ei.org) has released the next generation of Paper Village 2 (www.papervillage2.com), a premium web-based discovery platform for pulp and paper professionals. Paper Village 2 provides powerful search access to published literature, conference proceedings and information sources of high relevance to the pulp and paper industry.
The new release significantly upgrades the underlying technology while expanding available content sources to improve the research process. The FAST search engine and sophisticated search tools have been implemented to deliver standard bearing search speed and functionality. The latest version has been expanded, complementing PaperChem®, the most comprehensive bibliographic database covering the paper industry with available access to the U.S. National Technical Information Service (NTIS) database, the leading source for accessing unclassified reports from hundreds of influential government agencies. Additional content sources provide access to technical information, specifications, services sites and industry news.
