Sara Davis Named Engineering Librarian of the Year
June 5th, 2007 - Engineering Information would like to congratulate Sara Davis on being this year's recipient of the Special Library Association's Engineering Division Librarian of the Year Award.
The award, which includes a certificate of achievement and a $1,500 stipend, was presented to Sara during the Engineering Division Award's Luncheon at the SLA annual conference. This honor, sponsored by Elsevier's Engineering Information, is presented annually to recognize contributions to the engineering librarian profession. Award recipients are nominated by their peers and selected via the Engineering Division Awards Committee.
Sara's contributions to the Engineering Division include exceptional performance while holding a variety of leadership positions, including Fundraising Chair, Public Relations Chair, Secretary, and Treasurer.
